ONLINE SERVICES FAQ:

What comes with ONLINE Bodybuilding Consultation - Initial Program Design?... (How long does it run?...)

An initial consult includes all aspect of your bodybuilding / physique program including training, nutrition, supplementation (sports, herbal, etc.), and posing and routine suggestions.  The initial consult includes the initial program design and brief check-in's every 2-3 weeks and runs up to 1 year until you change your goals and start working in another direction.

If, for example, we do an off-season consult with the purpose of gaining muscle mass, we'd design your program in the 1st week or so and then over the off-season (e.g., 9 mo. until you start contest prep), you could and SHOULD (see below) check in every 2-3 weeks to make sure you stay on track.

How does the structure of your ONLINE consultation differ that of from other Online trainers?

After an Initial Consult (see above), I offer free check-ins every 2-3 weeks to make sure you stay on track.  More typically, online trainers charge 2 - 3 x my Initial Consult Price <LINK> for a shorter period of service (e.g., 3 months), during which the client gets day to day contact, if needed.  My approach is to set up an initial program that is detailed enough that you, the client, have the tools reach your the goals and less occasional re-adjustment is needed.  If you stick with me and stay in contact, only occasional questions about adjusting diet, exercise or supplements are needed.

This structure saves you money, time and gives you a longer period of service.  Also, this allows me to have a larger client load, so I can help out more folks.

What happens if I don't stay in contact after an Initial ONLINE Consult?...

Unfortunately, I have clients who start off well after an Initial Consult, and then do not maintain contact (even just to say that they're still gaining weight / strength, getting leaner, etc.).  When this happens, I can't intercede / check on things and oftentimes the diet has shifted (slowly, but over time it adds up), body fat has gotten too high, injuries have sidetracked them, etc.  At this point (after more than 4-6 weeks of no contact), we'd have to re-assess with a 1 week's consult (see below) to get me back up to speed.

What is the difference between an ONLINE Initial Consult and a 1 Week Consult (Program Intervention or Q and A)?...

The Initial Consult includes a complete program design from the ground up (see above), whereas the 1 weeks Consult / Program Intervention / Q and A lasts for 7 days (7 days of interaction, lasting perhaps 8-10 days if I am traveling / not able to log online for a day).  The 1 Week Consult is designed for:

  • Advanced Clients who have specific questions about modifying their own well-established programs (Q and A Format)
  • Clients who, after an Initial Consult, feel they need a week's worth of daily interaction to fine tune a program (e.g., before a competition).
  • Clients who haven't maintained good interaction [check-in's every 2-3 weeks (see above)] after an Initial Consult and we no need to do a detailed program re-assessment.
  • Clients who have gone an entire year since and Initial Consult with only brief Check-in's every 2-3 weeks.

Are there limits to what I can ask during an ONLINE 1 Week (Q & A) Consult?...

I am willing to address most any topic (pertaining to exercise, nutrition, holistic and Chinese medicine, etc. within reason of course).  Unfortunately, however, I can only type so quickly and ask that the questions / topics of our Q and A be as focused as possible.  Part of my service is to help focus our interaction and help you identify what it is you might be trying to figure out, so broad questions are not totally off-limits.  Questions such as, "What do you think about supplemental vitamins - tell me about each and every one of them, please?..." (a question I was once asked) will likely prompt a response from me like, “Let’s focus on why you might need them, what is missing for you, the how’s and why’s of what I recommend and go from there.”  This way, you get applicable information for you, rather than just information overload.

How does the ONLINE Bodybuilding Pre-Contest Last Week Service work (and WHY does it cost so much?)…

Ideally, we’ll set up the last week’s protocol 3-4 weeks BEFORE your actual show and do a trial / mock / practice run during that time (at 2-3 weeks out).  This includes everything from training, diet, supplementation, water intake timing, electrolyte timing, and accounting for travel time, time zone differences, color application, making weight, your previous diet and training schedule, and so forth  After we’ve worked through the details and gathered feedback (pictures, etc.), I’ll fine tune the process and you receive a black and white, step-by-step guide that ALSO includes what to do as things change (e.g., how to adjust your diet according to how you look).  Naturally, I will be available via phone a/o text to coach you during the days up to and of the competition, but our practice runs means you have little to do except, relax, execute and watch the cards fall into place on show day (with my help).

I charge so much for this b/c of the time and effort of making a customized approach such as this, its effectiveness (without the use of NO pharmaceutical diuretics) and naturally because it dialing things in can make or break your competitiveness on competition day.

Note that in some cases, after a thorough evaluation, your plan might be to do VERY little in terms of food, water and training manipulation.  On the other hand, your history and unique physiology might demand that we develop a highly integrated approach (using some of the unique “tricks” I’ve developed over the years) to optimize your appearance onstage.  My goal, like yours, is for  you to look your best and enjoy the day of competition, safely and healthily.
