Working with Scott Stevenson for my nutrition and training needs has been the best decision I have made to reach my personal physique goals. Scott took me on as client 15 weeks out of contest and I was far from being where I should be at that point in time. However, Scott laid out a plan of attack to maximize fat loss with minimal muscle loss. I was in the best shape of my life at the end of the 15 weeks. I was always the overweight kid growing up and with the help of Scott; I have seen my abs for the first time! I went from 215lbs to 169lbs in 15 weeks all the while getting stronger in the gym.
Scott was quick to answer my questions and was a great motivator throughout the entire process. He made changes to the plan off of the feedback I gave him and what was going on with my body. One of the things I really enjoyed about working with Scott is how individualized his plan was for me. He required a ton of information from me before even developing my plan.
In addition, I learned a lot about my body while working with Scott. He was very willing to explain the “why’s” of why he did things and for me personally, that meant a lot. Some nutritionist/contest prep guys out there will just tell you to do this and not explain the reason why you are doing it. It was never like that working with Scott. Also, Scott's ability to apply science to real world results is just plain awesome! I look forward to keep working with Scott in the offseason and future contests.
